Anadarko, Oklahoma December 2015 May 19, 1976 ~ December 24, 2015 ANADARKO: Eddy Ja'net Mahseet, 39, of Anadarko, Okla., passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015. She was born May 19, 1976, in Lawton, Okla. Eddy was a member of the Apache Tribe. She attended Anadarko Public Schools. Eddy loved taking care of her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Motown. Eddy was an avid OU Sooners and OKC Thunder fan. She always had a smile on her face and welcomed everyone with open arms. Eddy is survived by her special niece, Lindy Bluebird Chalepah; father, Edmond Mahseet; mother, Carolyn Chalepah; three brothers: Charles Chalepah, Eagles Mahseet and Nigel Mahseet; five sisters: Teresa Haywood, Mable Mahseet, Adrienne Mahseet, Leisha Mahseet and Tiffany Lebarre; special brother, Joel Wolfe; special uncle, Stanley Holder; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Leah Mahseet; grandparents: Roman and Mamie Mahseet-Prouty and Clarence and Sally Autaubo-Chalepah; three uncles: Bobby Ray Prouty, RD Chalepah and David Chalepah; aunt, Kathleen Chalepah; and granddaughter, Faith Mahseet. Funeral service for Eddy will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 1, 2016, at Grace Christian Fellowship, located at 301 W. Kansas Ave., in Anadarko, Okla. Interment to follow at Cache Creek KCA Intertribal Burial Grounds, in Apache, Okla. Services are under direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home, in Moore, Okla. |
