© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, November 11, 1964 James E. Stinson James E. Stinson Funeral Services Are Held Sunday Funeral services for James E. Stinson were held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the Pitcher Funeral chapel with Bro. Walter Teal, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial was in the Carnegie cemetery. Stinson, a native Texan, died Friday in Veterans' hospital, Oklahoma City, after being ill several weeks following surgery. He had been a resident of Carnegie and area since 1944. He was a farm laborer most of that time. He was born October 14, 1887, at Lone Oak, Texas. Among his survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Luellen Naylor, Tucumcari, N.M., and Mrs. Rosa Lock, Oklahoma City; several nieces and nephews including Mrs. Emmer Fox of Perry, Okla., Mrs. Ray Shackelford and Mrs. Floyd Shackelford, both of Carnegie. |
