© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma January 28, 2009 Joan [Jarnagin] Smith Funeral services for Joan Smith, 71, of Carnegie were held 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 26, 2009 at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home Chapel in Carnegie. She was born December 19, 1937 in Carnegie to Ray and Oney [Roach] Jarnigan and died Friday, January 23, 2009 at the Carnegie Nursing Home. She married Millard Smith and he preceded her in death. She moved to Carnegie from Purcell in 1996. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Wayne Jarnigan; and one sister, Imogene Crose. Survivors include two sons, Eldon Smith of Carnegie and Billy Smith of Purcell. Burial was in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home of Carnegie. |
