Ellen [Marshall] Hegner
September 18, 1911 ~ May 5, 2001


Bethany resident Iva Ellen Marshall Hegner died Saturday, May 5 in Oklahoma City. The former Carnegie resident was 89.

The daughter of Napolian W. Marshall and Effie Mae Cotter was born September 18, 1911, in Ott, Ark.

She married Joseph Hegner June 20, 1980, in Carnegie. He preceded her in death in 1990.

Hegner had previously been married to Lee Marrs and Jess Noland, both of whom also preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her daughter, Pauline Marrs Mills.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Dorothy Marshall; sister, Bessie Gregg; daughter and son-in-law, Steve and Irene Marrs McPherson; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Deena Noland; and three generations of grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at the Nazarene Church in Carnegie with the Rev. Arthur Blunt officiating.

Burial will follow at Carnegie Cemetery . Arrangements are under the direction of Fort Cobb Funeral Home.
