1860 ~ 1918


Andrew Arthur Frields, Carnegie's first resident died of Pneumonia at Fulton, Missouri, Thursday, January 3rd, age 57 years.

The body was brought to Carnegie. Funeral was conducted by Odd Fellows Lodge at Carnegie cemetery on Sunday.

Mr. Frields built the first house in Carnegie in 1901. It was located on the present Rock Island right-of-way. He still owns the property.

Mrs. Frields died in Carnegie five years ago. Mrs. Amelia Beebe of Carnegie is a sister. Four children survive, Miss Ruth and Frank of Chickasha; Ray of Lawton and Mrs. Beulah Edwards of Oklahoma City.

Son of Beverly A.& Margaret Jane Jenkins/Frields.

Beverly Frields born 1818 in Kentucky. Married Margaret Jane Jenkins on Jan. 18, 1857 in Audrain Co, MO.
