Funeral Service Saturday For Clyde E. Ford

Final rites for Clyde E. Ford were held at the Pitcher Funeral chapel Saturday, Jan. 17 following his death here. He was 51 years of age. Rev. W.Y. Switzer, Methodist pastor, conducted the services and burial was in the Carnegie cemetery with the Pitchers in charge.

Mr. Ford was born at Gainsville, Texas, December 12, 1890. He was married to Florence McKee, Nov. 15, 1913 and to them two children were born, Mrs. Juanita Tooman and Lee Ellen Ford, both of this place. He lived in Oklahoma Since he was five years of age. The family came to Carnegie in 1929, later went to Mangum for three years and returned here in 1932 where they have since lived.

Survivors besides the wife and daughters include two brothers, C.F. Ford of Amarillo and L.H. Ford of Duncan, both of whom attended the funeral; there are also four half-brothers who could not be present.
