Gladys C Flaherty
1897 ~ 1989


Funeral services for Gladys Flaherty, 91, Carnegie, were at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 10 at St. Richard's Catholic Church in Carnegie. Rosary was at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday evening, May 9 in the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Chapel.

Gladys was born October 20, 1897 at Monticello, Missouri and passed away Monday, May 8, 1989 in the Carnegie Hospital.

A legal secretary, Mrs. Flaherty had worked in Oklahoma City and California. She was a former resident of the Alden community and has resided in Carnegie for the past 20 years.

She was married to Edward J. Flaherty in 1939 in Ventura, California. He preceded her in death in 1964.

Survivors include a sister, Antoinette Timmer of Carnegie and several nieces and nephews.

Burial was in the Carnegie Cemetery under direction of Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home.
