Thelma Dean Fife Custer
1926 ~ 2008


Thelma Dean Fife Custer, 82, formerly of Topeka, Kansas died Sunday, April 27, 2008 at the Gardens Care Center in Kingman, Arizona where she had been a resident since September 2007.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; two spouses, Oscar D. "Jake" Fife in 1986 and James W. Custer in 2006.

Survivors include three children, Billie (Leif) Williams of Topeka, Kansas, Darol Fife of Topeka, Kansas and Rhonda (Ralph) McKenzie of Kansas City, Kansas; one sister, Dorothea (Mal) Willson of Kingman, Arizona; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Per Thelma's wishes she was cremated and her remains were buried in the family plot in Carnegie on May 24, 2008 under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home of Carnegie.
