John L. Fesseler Dies

John L. Fesseler, stepfather of C.A. Peiffer, died at the Peiffer home north of Carnegie Friday. Rev. W.A.R. Lovell conducted the funeral services at the Pitcher funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, and interment was made in the Carnegie cemetery.

John L. Fesseler was born at Pine Grove, Pa., April 1, 1853, died November 21, 1924, aged 71 years, 7 months and 21 days.

He was married to Mary Peiffer in 1880 at Shamokim, Pa. To this union four children were born, two of whom survive. They are Mrs. Mattie Shaffer, Meridian, Kan., and Sam Fesseler of Miller, N.M. He is also survived by a grandson and a granddaughter, and two step-children, Lue Peiffer of Miller, N.M., and C.A. Peiffer of this place.

Mr. Fesseler was brought up in the Lutheran faith.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fesseler and son from Miller, N.M., attended the funeral.
