Carnegie Rites Held Sunday For Stockman

Funeral services for Earl Brewington, well-known farmer-stockman of the area south of Carnegie, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Christian church with rev. Ward Botts, pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Carnegie cemetery.

Brewington had been in ill health for several months and had spent sometime in a Lawton hospital prior to his death Thursday at his home.

He was born April 2, 1904, and had spent all of his life in the Carnegie area. He attended schools at Prairie Vale, Lone Star and Carnegie.

On September 29, 1928, he was married to Myrtle Wilson at Hobart. two daughters were born to them.

He is survived by his wife of the home seven miles south and one-half west of Carnegie; two daughters, Mrs. Walter B. [Thelda] Harris of Jacksonvillle, Alabama, and Mrs. Jack (Janice) LeForce of Stanfield, Ariz.; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Butler of Wilburton, Okla., Mrs. Lucille Wells, Aztec. N.M., and Mrs. Crystal Earley of San Benito, Texas; and four grandchildren.
