Edward J. Bowlin
1941 ~ 2009


Funeral services for Edward J. Bowlin, 68, of Carnegie were held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the Church of the Nazarene in Carnegie with Rev. Chip Perkins, Pastor, officiating.

He was born March 4, 1941 in Carnegie to John and Susie [Orrell] Bowlin and died Saturday, December 5, 2009.

He operated Bowlin Electric, Heat and Air for many years and lived in Carnegie all of his life. He ranched for a number of years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Hugh and Loyd Bowlin; and one sister, Zelma Balden.

Survivors include a son, David Bowlin and wife Cheryl, Carnegie; daughter, Darla and Dale DeVaughan of Fort Cobb; six grandchildren, Tanae Weaver and husband, Joe, Eric Bowlin and wife, Katelin, Brian Bowlin, Chelsea, Ashley, Sydney DeVaughan; one great-granddaughter, Abby; two sisters, Irene Ulrich of Carnegie and Allene Stephens of Oklahoma City.

Burial was in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home of Carnegie.
