© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, January 18, 2006 Bernice Juanita "Sis" Lumpkin Bartosovsky 1920 ~ 2006 Funeral services for Bernice "Sis" [Lumpkin] Bartosovsky, 85, long time Caddo County resident will be held today, Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Carnegie with Rev. Arthur Blount officiating. Bernice was born April 15, 1920 in Stratford to Cleve and Elsie [Leonard] Lumpkin and died Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the Carnegie Tri-County Municipal Hospital. She grew up in Broxton and moved to a farm south of Carnegie in 1945. She married Charles Frank Bartosovsky on October 12, 1940 in Anadarko and he preceded her in death on January 26, 2001. She was a member of the Alden Presbyterian Church and Spring Valley Quilting Club in 1945. She was a great cook. She also loved to sew and quilt. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Millwee and husband, Bill of Carnegie; one son, Junior Bartosovsky and wife, Delores of Carnegie; six grandchildren, Mike Millwee and wife Trisha, David Millwee, Lanita Steinmetz and husband Tom, Darren Bartosovsky and wife, Teri, Sherri Chlouber and husband Michael, Brad Bartosovsky and wife Tina; 13 great grandchildren; two brothers, Merle Lumpkin and wife, Wanda of Ft. Cobb, Dink Lumpkin of Reserve, New Mexico; one sister, Betty Acton of Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; son, Kim and three brothers, Buck, Jack and Tobe. Burial will be in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home of Carnegie. Bernice Juanita "Sis" Lumpkin Bartosovsky< April 15, 1920 ~ January 14, 2006 |
