Services for Oris L. Barney, a Judge, Anadarko lawyer and former Caddo County Judge were held Thursday, March 23, in the First Christian Church, Anadarko.

Mr. Barney died Sunday while on a trip to Pontiach, Ill.

Mr. Barney attended the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University and received a law degree from Cumberland College, Lebanon, Tenn. At age 28, he was the youngest county judge to serve Caddo County. After service with the Army in World War II, he returned to Anadarko and practiced law.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. M. Haskell Newman and Dr. Jonne L. Barney, both of Ann Arbor, Mich., and a sister, Mrs. W. L. Wilsey, Sr., of Oklahoma City.
