Storm Baldwin Funeral Services Will Be Friday

Storm Baldwin, a resident of the Carnegie area since 1915, died Monday morning at the Carnegie hospital after a long illness. He had been in the hospital since October 11.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Bob Williams, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Carnegie cemetery.

Benjamin Storm Baldwin was born December 6, 1881, at Bradford, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Baldwin. He was married to Rachel Crose in 1902. Four children, Forest, Camilla and twins, Bernard and Bernice, were born to them. His wife preceded him in death in 1908. Baldwin came to this area in 1915 and had made this his home since. On November 7, 1922 he was married to Doris Bell. Two daughters, Onita and Oleta, were born to them.

He had been a member of the local Nazarene church since 1964.

He is survived by his wife of the home at 27 East Ash; two sons, Forest of Mountain View and Bernard of Marble Rock, Iowa; four daughters, Mrs. Camilla McClure of Carnegie, Mrs. Bernice Koehler of New Hampton, Iowa, Mrs. Oleta Goodwin of Hazelton, Idaho, and Onita of the home; two brothers, Otto and Edd Baldwin and one sister, Gertie Nicholson, all of Charles City, Iowa, 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
