1913 ~ 1998


Funeral services for M.G. Anderson, 84, of Talihina will be held Wednesday, May 6, 1998 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home Chapel in Carnegie with Rev. Arthur Blount, officiating.

M.G. was born July 28, 1913 in Maxwell, New Mexico to George V. and Lucy [Hereford] Anderson and died Saturday, May 2, 1998 at his home in Talihina. He married Mae Britt on January 11, 1933 in Anadarko. She preceded him in death in November 1984. He was a farmer and rancher and had lived in the Carnegie and Eakly area most of his life. he had lived in Talihina for the past three years.

He is survived by two sons, Bill Anderson and Don Anderson both of Honobia; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Hazel Bond and Alice ball.

Burial will be in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home.
