Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Lizzie Anderson

Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Commadore Anderson were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist church with Rev. Bill Dickover, pastor, and Rev. Bob Williams, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Interment was in the Carnegie cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson died early Monday at the Carnegie hospital where she had been a patient the last two weeks. She had been in failing health for several years.

She was born September 29, 1976, in Speck, Clay county, Tenn. She was married to Belvie Anderson in Tennessee on July 4, 1894. He preceded her in death October 30, 1952 at Verden, Okla. Of the five children born to them, two preceded her in death.

She was an active member of the Baptist church.

Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Audye Dees and Mrs. Orpha Prather, both of Carnegie; one son, Allan Anderson of Wichita, Kans., 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
