Amdall Rites Held Monday

Funeral services for Owen Amdall, 81, Altus, formerly of Carnegie were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the local United Methodist Church with rev. Larry Becker, pastor officiating.

Interment was in the Carnegie cemetery under the direction of Pitcher Funeral Home.

Amdall, who moved to Altus a few months ago, died Saturday in an Altus Hospital. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. L.F. Battles of Altus; one son, Col. Robert Amdall, of Kessler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Miss.; and 10 grandchildren.

He was business manager of the Carnegie hospital during the ownership of Dr. C.B. Sullivan. He had retired.
