Funeral Services Are Held Sunday For D.D. Allen

Funeral services for David Dennis Allen of Antlers; a former resident of the community north of Mountain View, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Carnegie First Baptist Church. The services were directed by Rev. W.F. Crow, pastor.

A brother of Mrs. Vinia Smith of Carnegie, Mr. Allen was well known here and at Mountain View. He was making his home at Antlers at the time of his death. He was 75 years, 11 months and seven days of age. Death came last Thursday at an Oklahoma City hospital.

Born on July 1, 1880, near Chapel Hill, Ark., Mr. Allen had lived in every state of the union. He made his home for several years with his mother and brother in the community north of Mountain view.

He was a member of the Greenridge Baptist church.

Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Burial was made at the Carnegie cemetery.
