Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Richard Wildman

Funeral servicesa for Richard "Dick" Wildman, 91, were at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Caenegie Methodist Church. Rev. Jack Lyons, Alfalfa pasrtor, conducted the service and was assisted by Rev. A. F. Heusel of Carnegie.

Intermenrt was in the Alfalfa cemetery.

Wildman died Sunday in the Carnegie hospital after being seriously ill several weeks.

In addition to his farming, Wildman was known as a blacksmith, engineer and grain and broomcorn thresherman.

He was born in Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada, September 6, 1872 and was one of 15 children.

He came to the United States in 1898 and settled near Mountain View.



He was married to Rosa Bunch February 1, 1902. In 1907 they moved to their farm 12 miles northeast of Carnegie where they lived until they moved to Carnegie in 19554 to make their home. There were 10 grandchildren born; two daughters, Reca and Rena, five sons, Bill and Frank, Carnegie; Neal, Oklahoma City; Ralph, Keremit, Texas; and Carl, Toronto, Canada; three daughters; Mrs. George Charles and Mrs. Jim Davis, both of Carnegie, and Mrs. Willard Harrison of Mobeetie, Texas; one niece, Mrs. S. S. Ferrell, Carnegie, 29 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Joy [Wildman] Little, 80, former resident of Alfalfa passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015.

She was born February 26, 1935, in Hydro, Oklahoma to William and Merle [Goodwin] Wildman.

She married Everett Little on April 1, 1955, in Oklahoma City, to this union two children were born, Jo Ellen and Douglas Leo.

Joy has been a member of the Methodist Church since childhood. Her faith and trust in God has pulled her through many difficult situations. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ellen Little, four grandchildren; Chad, Christa, Carrie, and Ryan, six great-grandchildren, her sisters; Kay Caddel and husband, Jerry of Lubbock, Texas, Kara Lee Bean and husband, Hubert of Georgetown, Texas, brother-in-law, Jerry Little and wife, Diane of Weatherford, Oklahoma, two sisters-in-law, Theyva Drewry and husband, Dannie of Mustang, Oklahoma, Mary Curtis and husband, Ed of Eufaula, Oklahoma and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett J. Little, Son, Douglas Leo Little, her parents, three brothers: Leon, Eldon, and Billy, two sisters-in-law; Annette Wildman and Lahoma Wildman, a great-grandson.

Reca Mabel Wildman
Birth: January 6, 1911
Death: March 18, 1936


Services for Miss Reca Wildman, daughter of Mr and Mrs. R. Wildman of north east of Carnegie, were conducted from the Alfalfa Baptist church Thursday at 2:00 p.m. by Rev Howard Davis, pastor of the Alfalfa Methodist church.

Interment was made in the Alfalfa cemetery under direction of the Pitcher Funeral home.

Reca Mabel Wildman was born January 6, 1911 at the home northeast of Carnegie and passed away at Elk City March 18, 1936, aged 25 years, 2 months and 12 days.

Reca was converted in 1929 and had lived a devoted Christian life. Her principal interest in life was centered in the home. She was a loving daughter and sister, patient and kind in suffering.

Her work in the church as teacher of little children was joy to her. Her devotion to others was noticeable in her kind deeds and loving thoughts. She was loved by all who knew her. Reca spent her last hours in prayer, her faith in the Master never wavering.

Other than her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Wildman, she is survived by five brothers, W.A. Wildman, Hydro and Neal, Frank, Carl and Ralph Wildman, Carnegie, and three sisters, Mrs. Helen Charles, Mrs. Edna Davis and Thelma Wildman of Carnegie. Her twin sister, Rena, died in infancy.

Besides the immediate family, she had a large number of other relatives, including her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. S.S. Ferrell of Carnegie; her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Crites of Sayre, and an uncle, Duke Wildman and his son, Norman, of Vici, also 13 nieces and nephews.

Miss Wildman had been ill continuously since early in last year, suffering from heat disease which was incurable, but which she bore with patience. An attack of pneumonia brought on her final illness and hastened her death.

Kenneth Neil Wildman

Kenneth Neil, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Wildman who live 12 miles northeast of Carnegie, died Tuesday of last week.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Alfalfa Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Howard Davis, pastor of the Alfalfa Methodist church, officiating.

Burial was made in the Alfalfa cemetery.

Kenneth Neil Wildman was born October 10, 1936, died September 7, 1937, aged 10 months and 27 days.

Besides his parents he is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Wildman.
