She was converted at about 15 years of age and became a member of the Alfalfa Baptist church, but her Christian activities of later years have been at Caddo Valley. She was united in marriage with J.B. Brown in August, 1928. To this union a daughter, Jenneta, and a son, Glendale, were born.

Besides her husband and two children she is survived by her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ramsey; three sisters, Mrs. Loyd Beall, Mrs. Roy Inman and Mrs. Clint Travis, all of Alfalfa, and four brothers, Fred Cook of Oklahoma City, and Loral, Ernest and Tolly of Alfalfa.

Mrs. Brown was loved by all who knew her. She has always been a devoted daughter to her parents and a loving wife and mother to her children.

We shall never forget her Christian service and her testimonies in which she stated her willingness to serve her Master. She taught Sunday school class at Caddo Valley for several years. Her influence will live on in the lives of all who loved her.

During her illness, she was very patient, kind and thoughtful of those who attended her. Besides her relatives, she leaves many friends who mourn her going away.
