Anna Fern Whittaker was born in Payne County, Okla., September 17, 1898, and died August 24th, making her age 14 years, 11 months and 7 days. She died of typhoid Fever.

She leaves parents and several brothers and sisters and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her loss. She was loved by many.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Duggins, of Carnegie, a Christian minister.

The sympathy of the entire community is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Whittaker and family in their bereavement.

Dear Anna is gone, but not forgotten
Never will her memory fade,
Sweetest thoughts shall ever linger
Around the grave where she is laid.

The Golden gates were open,
A gentle voice said come
And with a farewell unspoken,
She calmly entered home.

It was sad to part with Anna,
O' so sad to see her die,
But we'll try and meet her some sweet
Day by and by.
