Claude Thomason Dies

Claude Thomason died at his home 12 miles south of Alden Saturday as a result of complications following an attack of the flu in February.

Rev. W.A.R. Lovell conducted the funeral service at the Alden union church Sunday at 4 o'clock, and interment was made in the Alden cemetery.

Claude Thomason was born in Ft. Smith, Ark., March 8, 1889, died November 10, 1923, age 34 years 8 months, and 2 day.

He came to Oklahoma in 1902 from Texas where he moved with his parents when about 5 years old. He spent his entire life with his parents.

He leaves a father, mother, brother and sister, besides other relatives and a host of friends to mourn his departure.

He was a good moral boy, kind and loving, and considerate of his parents' welfare.

He had suffered extremely since last February. He said he had made peace with his God and was ready and willing to go.
