Adam Perschbacher
March 20, 1858 ~ April 7, 1941


Perschbacher Rites Here Thursday p.m. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist church at 2:30 Thursday afternoon for Adam Perschbacher, 83, well known resident of the Alden community for many years.

He died Tuesday at the home of his son, John, after suffering for some time following a sever stroke.

Rev. Oscar W., Eudaley, pastor of the Carnegie Church of the Nazarene, will conduct the services and burial will be made in the Alden cemetery.

The Pitcher Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Perschbacher was born March 20, 1858 in St. Clair county, Illinois.

At the age of 21 he moved to Kansas with his father.

In 1882 he was married to Adelia M. Yarger and to them two sons were born, John A. of Carnegie and James Henry of Hayden, New Mexico.

The family came to Oklahoma late in 1908 and located south of Carnegie where he was a neighbor to all.

His survivors include the two sons, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also three half-brothers and five half-sisters and many friends.
