Oney Services Are Held Thursday For Alva B. Sharp

Funeral services for Alva B. Sharp, 58, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Oney Baptist church with Rev. Larry Evans, pastor of the Oney Christian church officiating.

Burial was in the Albert cemetery.

Sharp who died at his home Tuesday morning with an heart attack, was born in Comanche, Texas, and was married in El Reno in 1923 to Ruby Willits

He came to Caddo county in 1921 and was a member of the Oney Christian church.

Survivors include his widow of the home, his mother, Mrs. Helen Sharp of Fresno, Calif.; a son, Alvin W. Sharp, Fort Cobb, a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Aline Smith; two brothers, Maurice and L.C. and a sister, Miss Anna Le Sharp, all of Fresno, and three granddaughter.
