Windol Freeman "Buddy" Evans
April 2, 1930 ~ November 29, 2010


Freeman Evans, 80 of Dill City, Oklahoma, was called home by the Lord on Monday, November 29, 2010 at his home with his loving family by his side.

He was born April 2, 1930 to David Matthew and Etha [Williams] Evans in Rentz, Georgia.

He attended school in Rentz, Georgia.

He was drafted into the United States Army in 1950 and served his country during the Korean War.

He was united in marriage to Vivian Marie Taylor on June 7, 1952. She preceded him in death on May 14, 2005.

He was a carpenter for Glenn Taylor. He also worked at Nashua Trailers in Wichita Falls, Texas. He worked in the oil fields as a floor hand. He retired as manager of Mason Farms.

He raised a big garden and grew almost everything the family ate. He enjoyed camping, squirrel hunting and fishing, fishing and fishing. He enjoyed eating his daily ice cream. He had made a profession of his faith in Christ. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by:
two sons: Leroy Evans and wife, Kelly of Lindsay, OK, Leon Evans and wife, Suzanne of Dill City, OK, two daughters: Carla Ramirez of Clinton, OK, Gail Evans and Roger Spencer of Ninnekah, OK, 21 grandchildren, 19 great grandchldren, one brother: R. C. Evans of Danville, Georgia, one sister: Janette Hooks of Dublen, Georgia, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends

Services: 10:00 A.M.-Saturday, December 4, 2010
Fort Cobb Chapel in Fort Cobb, OK

Officiating: Rev. Don Wright

Burial will follow in the Oney Cemetery in Oney, OK under the direction of Fort Cobb Funeral Home in Fort Cobb, OK

Vivian Marie [Taylor] Evans
June 26, 1937 ~ May 14, 2005


Marie Evans, 67 of Binger, Oklahoma, departed this life on Saturday, May 14, 2005 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

She was born June 26, 1937 to Glen and Edna M. [Callahan] Taylor in Apache, Oklahoma. Marie was united in marriage to Freeman Evans.

She worked at Wal-Mart for several years. Marie enjoyed doing crafts, going camping and was an avid reader.

She was a member of the Oney Baptist Church.

Marie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by: her husband, Freeman Evans of Dill City, OK; two sons; Leroy Glen Evans of Lindsay, OK, and David Leon Evans of Dill City, OK; two daughters: Carla Fay Ramirez of Clinton, OK and Edna Gail Hoffman of Chickasha, OK; her mother; Edna M. Taylor of Binger, OK; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two brothers: Donald Taylor of Dibble, OK and Odis Taylor of Fort Cobb, OK and Paula Bare of Gracemont, OK.

She is preceded in death by her father, Glen Taylor, one brother, Dale Taylor and one son, Buddy Evans.

Services at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 17, 2005 at Oney Baptist Church in Oney, OK.

Rev. Jimmy Prickett and Rev. Kurt Bloomstast will be officiating.

Burial will follow in th Albert Cemetery in Albert, OK, under the direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home in Fort Cobb, OK.
