January 19, 1879 ~ April 11, 1964


Funeral Services For Mrs. Carlile Are Held Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Carlile were held Monday at the Highland Methodist church west of Oney. Rev George Stauffer, Fort Cobb pastor, officiated.

Burial was in the Oney cemetery.

Mrs. Carlile died Saturday at the Curd Nursing Home here where she had been a resident for three or four years.

Augusta Elizabeth Hoelcher was born in January, 1878, to Herman and Anna Hoelscher at Warrenton, MO.

She had been a resident of this area for many years. She lived near Oney most of the time. She had been in ill health fore sometime.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Gillingham, Oney; a sister, Mrs. Adelia Hancock, Lomita, Calif.; 12 step-children; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
