Lincoln Lee Meat Sr
June 16, 1939 ~ July 23, 2011


Lincoln Lee Meat Sr., 72 was called home by the Lord on Saturday, July 23, 2011 in Anadarko.

He was born June 16, 1939 to Lester Meat and Fern Ahdokobo Miller in Lawton, Oklahoma.

He attended Alden School.

Lincoln was united in marriage to Isabelle Pusher and from this union was born two sons and one daughter.

He was raised by his grandmother, Nellie Horse Quoetone, who loved him dearly.

He worked as a farm labor'er in Oklahoma before moving with his family to Camp Verde, Arizona for past twenty eight years.

When his health began to fail, his sister, Barnetta Labrada brought his to live with her and her family and she became his wonderful care giver.

His greatest love was for his kids, grandkids and sisters and brothers, he also had some very special nieces and nephews. Three of his very special grandkids that he helped raise are Isavelle, Rosa and Oscar.

He enjoyed attending the Pow Wows and was a Judge at many of them. He was an avid listener of the Tribute to Native American Music radio station, 98.5. He enjoyed watching western movies. He enjoyed all the wonderful food at Gold River Casino, visiting with everyone there and even was pretty lucky at the slots.

He had made a profession of his faith in Christ. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by; two sons: Lincoln Meat Jr of Camp Verde, AZ, Dave Meat of Tuba City, AZ, one daughter; Marsha Meat of Camp Verde, AZ, eight grandchildren three brothers: Clarence "C. D." Meat of OK CIty, OK, Dwayne Davis of Carnegie, OK Rick Davis of Chickasha, OK, four sisters: Lena Deer of OK City, OK, Barnette Labrada of Anadarko, OK, Carla Davis and Jackie Haag both of Carnegie, OK, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends

He is preceded in death by his mother, Fern Ahdokobo Miller, his grandmother, Nellie Horse Quoetone, his father, Lester Meat Sr. two brothers, Gerald Meat and Lester Meat Jr and one sister, Sarah Meat Tatan.

Prayer Service:
7:00 P. M., Tuesday, July 26, 2011
Celebration of Life:
10:00 A. M., Wednesday, July 27, 2011 also at Smith Chapel in Anadarko, OK

Officiating: Rev. Jay Swallows and Rev. Jeff Haag, Burial will follow in Ahdokobo Cemetery, eleven miles south and 1/2 east of Carnegie . Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Anadarko, OK
