Donald "Don" Ray Ahboah, 70, of Oklahoma City left this world to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 5, 2011, with his family by his side.

He was born on May 16, 1940 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Bert and Julia [Kauley] Ahboah. He graduated from Broxton High School in 1958 and went to the State Baseball Championships his Senior Year. After high school he attended Okmulgee Tech School in Okmulgee, OK to be a Diesel Fuel Injection Specialist.

After completing Tech School Don settled in Oklahoma City.

Don loved to hunt, fish, camp, attend the Friday night races and go to tractor pulls. In 1983 he started his own business; Automotive Diesel, Inc. in Oklahoma City, OK, a diesel fuel injection shop that he operated until he retired and sold it in 1998.

On April 27, 1963 he married Linda Elaine Brown of Stroud, Oklahoma and they raised their family consisting of two daughters in Oklahoma City, OK.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 47yrs, Linda, of the home, Daughter and Son-in-law Shelly and J. Paul Wilson of Stroud, OK, Daughter and Son-in-law Shannon and Randy Yarber of Oklahoma City, OK, four Grandchildren; Blaine and Zachary Yarber and Raylin and Gabriel Wilson. He is also survived by his Sister and Brother-in-law Betty and L'Roy Campbell of Apache, OK, Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jane and John Davis of Prague, OK, Brother-in-Law Kenneth Brown of Stroud, OK and several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members & friends.

Don was preceded in death by his parents Bert and Julia Ahboah, one Brother Bobby Ahboah, In-laws Cecil and Alta Brown, Brother-in-law Johnny Brown and Sister-in-law Nancy Brown.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Central Baptist Church located at 829 N.W. 8th, Oklahoma City, OK, officiated by Pastor Leon Postoak. Burial will be 3:00 p.m. in the private family cemetery located 4 ½ miles north of Apache, OK.
