Sarah Marie Large received her angel wings on August 28, 2026. She passed unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of fierce love, unbreakable resilience, and a warrior's heart. Sarah was born July 26, 1995, to Rainer Large Sherina Large in Durant, OK.
To know Sarah was to know someone who lived out loud. She was raw, she was real, and she possessed a brilliant spark that refused to be dimmed by life's heaviest storms. Life handed Sarah challenges that would have broken most people. She walked through deep struggles, but her defining chapter was not the falling down "it was her magnificent choice to stand back up over and over again" Her absolute pride, joy, and the driving force behind every boundary she crossed were her three beautiful children. Everything Sarah did in her final chapters was for them. Her love for her kids was a roaring fire, and she fought with every ounce of her soul to bring her family back together. Her children will forever carry her courage and her unconditional love inside them.
Sarah's memory will be guarded and celebrated by her four sisters' one on her mother's side Reona Thorn and three on her father's side Sheila Large, Michelle Roberson, and Stacy Large. As sisters, we carry absolute adoration for the resilience she had and overwhelming pride for the incredible progress she made, the warrior she was, and the profound impact she left on everyone who truly knew her.
Preceded in death Sarah will be met by her daddy Rainer Large Jr. As well as her Grandma Linda Rhoades.
She is survived by her mother Sherina Large, her 3 children Patience, Maddie, and Rainer, her sister Reona Thorn along with her paternal sisters Sheila Large Michelle Roberson and Stacy Large along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Family Night for Sarah will be held on September 4, 2026, at Browns Funeral Service from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral will be held on September 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. also at Browns Funeral Service. We will lay Sarah's body to rest in Yarnaby next to her daddy.
