Thelma "Jolly" Jean Bond Marr

Thelma “Jolly” Jean Marr, age 85, passed away on September 27, 2021. Jolly was born to George and Lottie Bond in Connerville, Oklahoma. She attended and graduated from Achille Public Schools. Jolly married Bill Marr in Achille on March 31, 1956. She worked at the Levi’s factory as a seamstress. Jolly enjoyed sewing and her family. She was a Christian woman.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Marr, mother Lottie Bond, her father George Bond, her brothers JB May, Wilburn Mayo, John Bond, Micky Bond. Her sisters Rachel Chilten and Francis Crook, her son in law Gary Robinson.

Left to cherish her memories are her son Billy Ray Marr Jr. and wife Angelia of Durant, daughter Debra Robinson of Achille. Granddaughters: April Mayo and spouse Tim of Achille, Trey Marr and spouse Leah of Pottsboro, Kimberly Marr of Colbert, Jonda Motney spouse Jonathan of McKinney, TX, and grandson Scott Robinson of Durant. Great-grandchildren: Kennedy Mayo, Canon Marr of Pottsboro, Chandler Marr of Pottsboro. Sister Doris Templeton of Achille.

Graveside services are set for Jolly for Thursday, September 30th at 10:00 AM at Rosewood Cemetery in Achille. Visitation is set for Wednesday, September 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service in Durant. Online condolences can be made at www.brownsfuneralservice.com
