Richard Jefferson Lewis, 73 of Achille, OK, passed from this life on April 2, 2020 at Tulsa, OK. Graveside services will be held 3:00pm on Wednesday May 6, 2020 at Rosewood Cemetery in Achille, OK.

He was born on December 2 1946 to Steve J. Lewis and Luddie Mae Gilmore Lewis in Achille, OK. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time fishing and watching old western movies.

He was preceded in death by both parents, 3 sisters, Ora Mae Wallace Morris, Viola Berryhill, and Rosie Lewis, 1 brother, Roven “Bobby” Wallace. Grandparents, Jeff Lewis and Effie Johnson Lewis.

He is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Kay Lewis Campbell of Sulphur, OK, Lisa M. Lewis Cummins, and Karen L Lewis Carpenter, both of Ada, OK. One brother, Donald Lynn of Davis, OK and one sister, Nadine McDonald, of Sulphur, OK. He had 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Patrick Haislip, Luke Wright, A.J. Flores, Jeffery Lewis, Christopher Cloud and Brandon Rhodes.

Services under the direction of Cunningham Funeral Home.
