Willie Lee Chandler Freeman 88, of Yarnaby, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday evening at Southern Pointe Living Center in Colbert.

She was born October 29, 1923, in Yamaby to Thomas and Nettie Green Chandler and was a lifelong Yarnaby resident.

She attended Achille schools where she was a basketball player and an Achille graduate.

She married James Arthur "Ott" Freeman December 31, 1945, and he preceded her in death September 29, 1996.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Alfred, Arthur and Albert Chandler and one sister, Ila Mae Green.

She was a lifetime member of Yarnaby Assembly of God and worked as a seamstress for Levi's for many years and cooked at several Cafe's over the years.

Surviving are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Willie Freeman will be 10:00 a.m. Monday morning February 6, 2012, at the Rosewood Cemetery in Achille with Reverend Rick Ring officiating.

Family hour will be from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Cunningham Funeral Home in Cofbert.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma.
