Services for Charles Don White, 47, of Calera, who passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2008, at his home, will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Rev.

Kerry Groce will officiate.

Charles was born October 13, 1962, in Durant, to Thomas and Doris White.

He attended school and later worked as a diesel mechanic and meat cutter.

He has been a lifelong resident of Bryan county and is married to Phyllis Coffey White.

Charles was of the Christian faith and he enjoyed watching football, hunting, fishing and was an avid OU fan.

Charles will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Charles is survived by his wife, Phyllis White of the home; son, Phillip White; daughter, Lacy Dawn Edwards and husband Patrick; parents, Thomas "Buck" and Doris Work White; sisters, Kathy Smith and Julie Phillips and husband Wayne; grandchildren, Arielle and Madison Edwards all of Calera and other relatives and a host of friends.

Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera.

There is no family hour scheduled but the funeral home will be open until 8:00 p.m. for visitation.
