Kenneth Duane Turner

Kenneth Duane Turner left this life and joined his Savior on December 15, 2021, at the age of 53. He was born in Durant, OK on July 22, 1968, to Curtis Ray Turner and Lillie Jane (McDonald) Turner. Kenneth married Vivian in Folsom, OK on December 20, 2003.

Kenneth enjoyed his work as a construction carpenter and woodworking. He was an outdoorsman who appreciated hunting and fishing in his spare time. Kenneth loved spending time with his son Matthew and grandson Nehemiah.

Mr. Turner is survived by his cherished wife, Cindy Turner of Durant, OK: children, Matthew Turner of Durant, OK, and daughter, Brandi Johnson and husband Andrew of Denison, TX: brothers, David and wife Debra, Bobby Turner and wife Karla all of Durant, OK, and Michael Turner and wife Tracy of Mead, OK: he is also survived by his grandson, Nehemiah Johnson of Denison, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Jane Turner, Jack, and Clairette Turner along with John Wesley and Mamie McDonald.

Family hour will be from 3-4:00 PM on Sunday December 19th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, OK. A celebration of his life will be at 2:00 PM Monday December 20th at the Durant Church of Christ with Bro. Logan Cates officiating. His final earthly resting place will be the Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, OK with brothers, David, Bobby, Michael, along with Stephen Turner, BJ Albright, and Cody Buffalo as pallbearers.

Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, OK.
