Harley "Gene" Little Jr.

Harley “Gene” Little Jr. 65, of Carrollton, Texas passed away Tuesday morning September 7, 2021 at Dallas Medical Center in Farmers Branch, Texas. He was born January 2, 1956 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to Harley Gene and Geraldine Little.

He attended Ardmore, Oklahoma schools and Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant. He married Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Carpenter on August 21, 1979 in Durant. He was a Senior Assemblymen for Halliburton in Carrollton, Texas for 41 years.

Gene was a diehard Oklahoma Sooners fan, as well as a Dallas Cowboys, St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and L.A. Lakers fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy, his father Harley "Gene" Little, Sr., his niece Amber Williamson, and his nephew DeMario Gray Sr.

He is survived by his mother Geraldine “Gerri” Little of Muskogee, Oklahoma. His daughter Kandace Thrift, her husband Greg, and their son Charlie of Germantown, Tennessee. His son Christopher and his husband Reginald, and his sons Eric and Matthew all of the home in Carrollton, Texas. Sister Jeanette Askins and her husband Bill of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. His brother Kendall “KJ” Little and his wife Mandi from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His sister-in-law Pam Williamson and her husband Steve of Armstrong, Oklahoma. Numerous Nieces, Nephews and cousins also survive.

A Funeral Service for Harley Gene Little Jr. will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday morning September 11, 2021 at Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma.

There will be a friends and family night on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 7 P.M. to 8 P.M. also and Cunningham Funeral Home.
