Timothy Gene Harris entered this life on June 12, 1959 in Durant, OK, born to Weldon and Mary (Grounds) Harris. Timothy went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 14, 2018 in Durant, OK at the age of 59 years, 2 months and 2 days.
Timothy attended schools in Bryan County. He worked with scrap metal and was one who had a vision that old metal could still serve other purposes. Not only did he earn a living by collecting scrap metal it was also a hobby, along with fishing and spending time with family and friends. Timothy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding him in death is his father, Weldon Viron Harris, and brother, Randall Lynn Harris.
Timothy is survived by his loving mother, Mary Ann Harris of Durant, OK; brothers, Weldon Dewayne Harris of Ocala, FL, Billy Don Harris of Ada, OK, Mike Harris of Tupelo, MS, and Charles Harris of Durant, OK; along with numerous other family, friends and loved ones.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, OK with Butch Blagg officiating. Pallbearers will be family members. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 17, 2018 in the Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM for Family Hour.
