Calvin Wade Garrett, Jr., 29, of Mead, Oklahoma passed away May 27, 2015 in Houston, Texas.

Visitation will be held at Achille School Vernon Anderson Auditorium in Achille, Oklahoma on June 5, 2015 at 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at Achille School Vernon Anderson Auditorium in Achille, Oklahoma on June 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Phillip Rowland officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma.

Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert is handling the funeral arrangements.

Pallbearers are Chris Webb, Brandon Garrett, Michael Garrett, Lawrence Scoggins, William Yancey, Josh Yelvington, Bradley Applegate, Tanner Applegate and multiple firemen from Bryan County Fire Departments. Honorary pallbearer is Jackie Murr, Jr.

Calvin was born March 25, 1986 and was the son of Joy Machelle Garrett and Calvin Wade Garrett and LaDonna Garrett.

He went to high school at Calera High School and graduated in 2003.

He worked as pipeliner and also as a volunteer firefighter.

Calvin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Otto and Reatha Mae Garrett and two brothers, Donny and Johnny Webb.

Calvin is survived by his wife, Angelica Garrett of Mineral Wells, Texas; grandparents, David and Dortha Garrett of Achille; parents, Joy and Gary of Fort Worth, Texas, Calvin and Dierdre of Mead, Oklahoma, LaDonna and Kerry of Achille, Oklahoma, sisters, Amanda Garrett and husband Ben of Durant, Leisha Barber and husband Rodney of Denison, Texas and Audrey LeAnn Burkhalter and husband Checona of Achille, brothers, Brandon Garrett and wife Valerie of Kingston and Chris "Bud" Webb and wife Brittany of Kemp, Oklahoma and a very special friend, Donna Allen, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma.
