Phillip Wayne Dunegan was born September 14, 1950 in Wade, OK and went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2015. He retired from Pettit Machinery in 2012 and was one of the first five Master Mechanics for John Deere. Over half of his life he was devoted to being a tractor mechanic. In his spare time, Phillip loved to hunt and fish, and he spent countless hours with his family. His absence will be missed by many in Southeastern Oklahoma.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Jane Dunegan of Wade, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife Fay of the home, daughter, Sheryl Bankers, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, all of Hot Springs, AR, sister, Betty Williams and husband Howard of Muskogee, Ok, brothers, Fred Dunegan of Bennington, OK, John Dunegan and wife Judy of Calera, OK, Danny Dunegan and wife LaDonna of Sherman, TX, many other nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Calera, OK with Bro. Charles Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Calera.

Family hour will be Sunday, February 15, 2015, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, OK.
