Services for Charles Bledsoe age 77 of Durant, Oklahoma. will be Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home. The Rev. Jack Ball will officate. Intermant will follow at the Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be John Bledsoe, Troy Joe Key, Erman Bledsoe, Ronnie Bledsoe, Johnaton Burras, Thieman Watkins, and Robbie Dean Watkins. Family hour will be Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 7-8 P.M. at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home.

Mr. Bledsoe was born February 2, 1933 in Paris, Texas to Erman and Zeda Bell ( Mc Fatridge ) Bledsoe. He went to be with his Lord on Friday, January 14, 2011. in Durant, Oklahoma. Charles married Elly Robinson on September 4, 1964 in Durant, Oklahoma. Mr. Bledsoe enjoyed working outside, hauling hay, cutting wood, and working in his garden. He was a member of the Pentecostal faith.

Charles is survived by his wife, Elly Bledsoe of Durant, Oklahoma. Sons: Bobby Watkins of Durant, Oklahoma and Thieman Lee Watkins of Caddo, Oklahoma. Daughter: Tana Bledsoe of Durant, Oklahoma. Brothers: David Bledsoe of Armstrong, Oklahoma, J.C. Bledsoe of Durant, Oklahoma, Kenneth Bledsoe of Durant, Oklahoma, Ronnie Dale Bledsoe of Paris, Texas, John Henry Bledsoe of Bonham, Texas and Terry Bledsoe of Seymour, Texas. Sisters: Maude Bledsoe of Mineola,Texas, Dorothy Burris of Ferris, Texas, Betty Lofton of Paris Texas and Mary Ann Short of Paris, Texas. 12 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Mr. Bledsoe was preceded in death by his parents, Erman and Zeda Bell Bledsoe; Brothers, Leon, Stanley , Barry ,and Marvin Bledsoe.
