Funeral services for Anna Jo Phillips Belch, 89, of Ardmore were held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at the Harvey-Douglas Centennial Chapel.

Rev. Roger Wood officiated the service and interment followed at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera.

Anna was born on September 18, 1920, to Ples L. and Annie Keller Phillips. She passed from this life on September 15, 2010.

She married Thomas O. Belch on December 23, 1941, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister, Ruth Lawrence.

Anna was a lifelong resident of Ardmore and she enjoyed traveling, camping, playing board games and feeding the birds in her yard.

She was a retired secretary with Peoples Federal, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Cora Carlock Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbra Holmes and husband Jerry of Mead, and Martha Murray and companion, Jerry Shipp of Ardmore; step-sons, David Belch of Charlottesville, Virginia and Joe Belch and wife Sue of Mobile, Alabama, grandchildren, Tracey Leah, Jamie, Michael and Amy; great-grandchildren, Braden Bahner, Zach Bahner and Dylan Murray special nephew, Phillip Lawrence.

Pallbearers for the service were Jerry Shipp, Mike Murray, Craig Murray and Jerry Holmes.
