Hazel Lorene Craddock Ashley

Hazel Lorene (Craddock) Ashley passed from this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at her home at the age of 93. Hazel was born on January 17, 1927 in Calera, OK to Lonzo and Clarissa Pauline (Mitchell) Craddock.

Hazel attended school in Calera and later married Oscar Lee Ashley Sr. on May 1, 1948 and they were blessed 50 years together until his passing in 1998. She worked for the sewing factory in Durant and as cook’s assistant and was a member of Mead Baptist Church.

Hazel was preceded in death by husband Oscar Ashley; son Danny Ashley; 9 siblings and 9 sister and brother in laws.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 14, 2020 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera with Bro. Kerry Groce officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
