Leonard Wayne "Red" Stephenson was born on October 17, 1971, in McKinney, Texas to Donnie Ray Stephenson and Glenda (Washburn) Stephenson. Red passed away on April 9, 2026, at the age of 54. He moved to Bryan County 38 years ago from Justin, Texas and he was an entrepreneur. He loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles and spending time with family and friends.
Red is preceded in death by his father Donnie Ray Stephenson; sister Brenda Louise Stephenson and nephew Michael Stephenson Jr.
Red is survived by his mother Glenda Kemp and husband Ray of Riesel, TX; brother Michael Stephenson and wife Jennifer of Bennington, OK; daughter Danielle Stephenson of Durant, OK; son Mason Stephenson of Mead, OK; nephew Justin Stephenson of Durant, OK and numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday April 17, 2026, at Brown's Durant Funeral Service Chapel. Amanda McClain will officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Caddo, OK with Michael Stephenson, Gary Stephenson, John Stephenson, Gary Stephenson Jr., Jason Stephenson, and Carl Stephenson Jr. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown's Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
