Ruby Lorraine Davidson a resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the age of 66 years 11 months and 4 days. She was born in Fresno, California on Monday, February 4, 1946 to Allan and Lillie Peden. Ruby Penden married Charles Davidson in McKinney, Texas on February 4, 1979.

Ruby was a rare person who was very sweet and had a tender heart. She enjoyed going to the lake and sharing a cold beer with friends. Ruby loved sitting on her front porch. But more than anything she cherished her family and friends and always had time and a kind word of them.

Mrs. Davidson is survived by her husband, Charles Kenneth Davidson of the home; son, Charles Kelsay and wife Tiffany of Durant, Oklahoma; daughters, Louise Ortiz and husband Miguel of Dallas, Texas and Mary Ellen Kelsay of Dallas, Texas; sons, James Kelsay of Durant, Oklahoma and Larry Don Kelsay of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren,Miguel Ortiz, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, Kelly Ortiz of Dallas, Texas, Valarie Flores of Dallas, Texas, Jacob Kelsay of Dallas, Texas, Fernando Flores of Dallas, Texas, sister, Mary Katherine Williams of Durant, Oklahoma; brothers, John Peden and wife Marie of Mead, Oklahoma, Herman Peden and wife Lois of Belleville, Arkansas and William Peden of Arkansas; niece, Shantil Kelsay of Oklahoma.

Mrs. Davidson was preceded in death by her parents, Allan and Lillie Peden; sister, Ellen Bridges; two infant sons, Terry Lynn and Ricky Allan.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Armstrong, Oklahoma. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Kelsay, Casey Littrell, Miguel Ortiz, Miguel Ortiz, Jr., Roy Pope and Joe Pope.
