Deena Rae "Maw" Burland

June 9, 1951 ~ April 24, 2017

Deena Rae "Maw" Burland, a resident of  Durant, Oklahoma and beloved mother, and grandmother, left this life in Durant, Oklahoma on Monday April 24, 2017 at the age of 65 years 10 months and 15 days. She was born on  June 9, 1951 to Ivan Floyd Ray and Bobbie Jean (Cundiff)  Adams.

Deena was a loving, compassionate person, who opened her home to feed and  encourage many people over the years. Her hugs were very special and she didn't want to let go. Deena was always there to hold on to her kids and grandchildren.

Mrs. Burland is survived by her son, Bubba Burland and wife Carol of Borger, Texas; daughter, Sherri Burland and Jerry Lawton of Durant, Oklahoma; sons, Floyd Burland and wife Corky of Blue, Oklahoma and Bobby Burland and Erika Johnson of Mead, Oklahoma; 16 beloved grandchildren and 14 beloved great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Burland was preceded in death by her grand-parents, Gordon and Bessie Cundiff, parents, Ivan Floyd Ray and Bobbie Adams; husband, Gene Burland.

A memorial service will at 2:00 PM Tuesday May 2nd at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma with Chaplin Tommy Green officiating.
