Janet "Sissy" (King) Snyder a beloved family member and resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed away to soon on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the age of 55 years 6 months and 13 days. She was born to Earl and Opal (Lamar) King on Friday April 3, 1959 in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Janet is survived by her sons, Justin Holstine of Durant, Oklahoma and Tim Pickens and wife Katie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Charlett Marlow of Durant, Oklahoma; brother, Kenny King of Mead, Oklahoma; grandsons, Branson Pickens and Eli Pickens both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; father, Earl King of Durant, Oklahoma and numerous friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Opal King; brothers, Jerry King and Michael King.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 6-7:00 PM on Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Mead Cemetery with Bro. Kerry Groce officiating. The pallbearers will be Tim Pickens, Justin Holstine, Henry MaComber and Geoffrey Russell.
