Jerry Gale Pippin, 83, of Mead passed away Tuesday, October 11 in Durant, Oklahoma. Jerry was born September 19, 1939, in McKinney, Texas to JW & Inez (Trout) Pippin. He married Gracie Alexander on March 10, 1962, and together they shared 49 years until her passing in 2011. Jerry proudly served in the US Airforce as an aircraft mechanic during Vietnam. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with friends and family, building classic cars, and was an active member at Parkside Baptist Church in Denison, Texas, helping with many ministries and projects. He was a hardworking man his entire life, rarely turning down an opportunity to help someone. Jerry was a very dear friend loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gracie, and one brother.

He is survived by three daughters, Cynthia, Lisa, and Makayla; 2 brothers, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, and so many friends and family members that loved him dearly.

Services to celebrate the life of Jerry will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 2 PM at Brown's Funeral Service. Family hour will be Monday 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mead Cemetery with Michael Treglazoff, AJ Lamon, Kristopher Feazell, Carson Toone, David Copeland, Jason Anderson, and Marcos Rodriquez.

The family would like to say a very special thank you to the nurses at Alliance Health who took such great care of him and his family during this difficult time. Many have expressed that he was so sweet, and a little ornery at times, but he was loved. And to his church family and the entire Beard family, thank you for loving him. He lived his best life to the very end!
