Raymond Hair a beloved family member and resident of Kemp, Oklahoma passed from this eartly life into the arms of his Savior in Denison, Texas on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the age of 88. He was born on August 29, 1926 in Liberty, Oklahoma to Louis and Ida (Davidson) Hair. Raymond married Lois Garrison in Durant, Oklahoma on April 4, 1947.

Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Kemp Church of Christ. Raymond was a truck driver for the Pillsbury company for many years. He enjoyed being outside fishing or gardening. Raymond loved his family and especially cherished all this grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hair is survived by his daughters, Nancy Yaryan and husband Ken of Denison, Texas and Rayma Cheshier of Kemp, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Shannon Hix and wife Becky of Coalgate, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Cami Dellinger and husband Todd of Hendrix, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Miranda Hix of Coalgate, Oklahoma, Bret Dellinger and wife Kaylie of Kemp, Oklahoma, Shelby Dellinger of Hendrix, Oklahoma and Chloe Hix of Coalgate, Oklahoma.

Mr. Hair was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Hair; son-in-law, Gary Cheshier; parents, Louis and Ida Hair; brothers, Edward, Hubert, Henry and Durrell.

A donation in his honor can be made to the Kemp Cemetery in Kemp, Oklahoma or the Tipton Children's Home or the American Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org

A service in honor of Raymond’s memory will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Roger Speers and Bro. Jan Kelley officiating. Interment will follow at the Kemp Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chester Nichols, Kenneth Ervin, Kendall Ervin, Kirk Ervin, Lyndon Nichols and Ted Teague. Honorary pallbearer will be John Davis.
