Juanita Coburn Tyner Gose, 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at 4:30 p.m.

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend peacefully passed from this earth in her home of Kemp, Oklahoma surrounded by her family and loved ones.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 15, 2010 at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma.

Interment will follow at Kemp Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Jan Kelly.

Born Juanita Beatrice Coburn on July 28, 1929, at home in Bennington, Oklahoma.

Juanita moved to California in 1947 where she met and later married Lawrence Tyner on March 26, 1949.

She worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Rancho Polio Hospital.

She chose to be a homemaker to raise her family.

She returned to Oklahoma in 1971, and eventually resided for 30 years in Kemp, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family, of which she served as mother and father to her four children after losing her husband at a young age. Juanita's love of her children and grandchildren was evident in the way that she never forgot a birthday, anniversary, graduation or any special occasion.

She loved to play bingo surrounded by her family and friends. She found great enjoyment and pleasure in giving. Everyone was always welcome in her home and she was generous with her love. She will be sadly and lovingly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Leslie Tyner, her parents, Roy Farrington Coburn and Beatrice Thompson Coburn, two brothers, Leon Coburn and Lloyd Coburn and one nephew, Brian Coburn.

She is survived by daughters, Linda Payne and husband Michael of La Mirada, California, Rita Manning and husband Larry of Kemp, Oklahoma, Laurencene Dill and husband Mark of Calera, Oklahoma and son, Roy Tyner and wife Leah, of Calera, Oklahoma; grandsons, Chris Nichols, Bryan Payne, Marcus Dill and Jacob Tyner; granddaughters, Lisa Payne, Brandy Reese, Lacy Blackburn, Zenie Weil and Kylie Manning as well as thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Charlene Clawson and dear friend, Julie Collins.

Pallbearers are Chris Nichols, Marcus Dill, Jacob Tyner and Bryan Payne. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Weil, Clint Blackburn and Carl Reese.

A grateful family thanks to Mays Home Health, Victory Hospice and all the dear family and friends.
