Freddie Joe Dillingham was born on July 9, 1952, in Denison, Texa,s to Simon and Beverly Dillingham. He grew up in the Red River area and attended Yuba and Denison. He worked as a horse trainer most of his life if he wasn't driving a truck. His passions were roping, playing cards, shooting dice, and gambling, and whatever else came his way Freddie passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Simon Dillingham and Beverly (Reynolds) Dillingham. His son Bronc Ellis Todd Dillingham.
Left to cherish his memories are children, Joe Dillingham of Kemp and Grant Dillingham and wife Stephanie of Silo. His daughter, Amanda Miller of Mead. stepson, Cody Powell, and wife Leann of Bells. His siblings, Danny Dillingham and his wife, Lindy, of Denison. Patti and husband Pete Timpanaro of Denison, Becky and husband Shannon Hix of Coalgate. Nieces and nephews. Grandchildren Joey Sheffield and wife Layla, and Alivia Sheffield. Great-grandchildren Joey W. Sheffield III and Lucy Sheffield.
Graveside services are set for Friday, April 18th at 2:00 PM at Kemp Cemetery with pastor Jan Kelly to officiate. The family will receive friends for the visitation on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Brown's Funeral Service of Durant. Serving as pallbearers are: Keith Bacon, JD Bacon, Dav Bacon, Steve Whiting, Dean Stanglin, and Barron Burgess.
