Charles Cleveland, a beloved husband, father, Papa and friend left this earthly life on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 72. Charles was born to William (Bill) Henry Cleveland and Dovie (McMennamy) Cleveland in Kemp, Oklahoma on October 1, 1947. He married the love of his life Nancy Walton on August 19, 1966 and later became parents to two children.

Charles was very much a family man. He was proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed watching his children play sports and once having granddaughters he loved watching them dance, play volleyball and sing. ...never missing a performance. The only thing that came close to his grandkids in his eyes were the dogs in the family. And he was their favorite. ...always at his feet or in his lap. Charles never met a stranger and he enjoyed taking road trips and meeting new people. He was very particular about his vehicles and he probably had one of the cleanest trucks in Bryan County.

Mr. Cleveland is survived by his wife Nancy Cleveland of the home; son, Phillip Cleveland and wife Mitzi of Frisco, Texas; daughter, Monica Eledge and husband Cory of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Rachel Cleveland, Rylee Cleveland, Kathleen Murray, Bryn Murray, Charley Eledge; sister, Ruth Kemp and husband Joe of Sherman, Texas; brother-in-law, Bernie Robinson of Kemp, Oklahoma; sister-in-laws, Peggy Cleveland of Kemp, Oklahoma and Peggy Cleveland of Arlington, Texas, Burma Daley and husband Jim of Kemp, Texas, Betty Buchanan and husband Willie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Charles also, is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Cleveland is preceded in death by his parents William Henry Cleveland and Dovie (McMenamy) Cleveland; brothers, Wayne Cleveland, and James Cleveland; sister, Nelta Robinson.

The family has requested that if you are attending the visitation or services that a mask is required and that everyone practice social distancing.
